This Christian County piece is a great hunting tract in the middle of some great habitat. This property was once a tillable farm that has been put into a permanent CREP program – CP3A tree program. There are thick sapling areas with growing hardwoods in place. There are lower areas without trees and natural vegetation for waterfowl. There is also some higher ground on the west side along the creek and two access points.
Even though there is no income or the ability to farm again, this plan does allow up to 10% food plot allowance. There is a power line along the east side, running north to south, that could be mowed and put into clover for additional forage. The field and additional acres have all been enrolled in the CREP program; therefore, you can not build a house or any structures. This is strictly a recreation and hunting tract with great habitat for the wildlife. Check out the pictures and aerial video to get a better feel for the habitat.
