This property is a nice mixture of tillable, CRP, and heavy timber. The timber acres are very unique on this farm. Some acres are situated directly below a large bluff and could be cleared for additional farm ground. The remaining timber acres are situated along a large bluff, offering some of the best whitetail hunting in Western Illinois. This farm is completely covered in trails, scrapes, rubs, and bedding areas. The trail camera photo of the double drop tine buck was from 2017-2018 season, and is a good representation of how big the deer can get in this area. The CRP was planted in the summer of 2016 and is a 10 year contract. There is a hard-surfaced road on the north end of the property and a gravel road with 3-phase power that runs along most of the west side of the farm.
