These ponds were professionally constructed by lining the entire bottom of the ponds with excavated clay soil and were then lined with a tremendous amount of bentonite clay. All 3 ponds can be filled with a well and pump system. The well is over 120 feet deep and is complete with a 15-horse power pump that connects to 3-phase power and is capable of pumping approximately 400 gallons per minute. This pump will raise the 4-acre pond approximately 4 inches per day if water needs to be added to the ponds. The largest pond behind the house is already stocked with Crappie, Blue-gill, bass, and catfish. The medium sized pond was recently drained for some repairs and is going to be stocked the same or can be stocked however a future buyer would like. The smallest pond in front of the house is currently stocked with fathead minnows that are used periodically to keep a constant flow of bait fish for the two larger ponds.

This property has approximately 15 tillable acres.
