Property Description

Originally established in 1902 as the Central Illinois Hunting Club; this is a very unique opportunity to buy four owner shares of one of the oldest duck clubs ever established in the state of Illinois.
The club is more recently named Central Illinois Gun Club, and boasts 1152 acres of prime waterfowl hunting property located along the Illinois River near historic Bath, Illinois. This Club was once managed by Dale Hamm, Author of “The Last of the Market Hunters”, and carries with it as much history as any Duck Club in the nation.
All four shares must be purchased together either by a single individual or as a group, but the most recent by-laws established by the club give these four shares total access and annual rights to 1 of 7 rotating blind locations. The designated blinds rotate annually. There are alternative blind locations established for each blind if the hunting at your current location is slow.
Each share also comes with full access to the club house as well as a half room per share for sleeping arrangements during the hunting season. The club house was originally built in 1910 and holds a tremendous amount of history. There are 14 bedrooms total, two cooking areas, a TV room, a locker room, as well as a great area to clean your daily harvests. Annual dues are very low and affordable at $600.00 per share annually. Many improvements have been done to the property ranging from levee improvements, a quality pump station has been installed, boat ramps, and food plots for deer. Most blind locations can be accessed via boat or ATV which makes it nice if one of your friends has to leave and the ducks are still flying. Ducks Unlimited is currently in the process of purchasing a neighboring property and they intend on creating a rest area and refuge right next door to this club. Other clubs in the area also provide rest areas and food sources that also help the overall hunting for this club.
It is not very often you will find a property that offers hunting for deer, ducks, geese, turkeys, mushrooms, and fantastic opportunities for fishing.
