This stand of timber is one of the best I’ve seen in some time, very diverse with several species ranging from mature white oaks to black walnut and cherry. The timber on this property is going to be very valuable in the future. Impressive timber isn’t the only thing this property has going for it, the high number of deer is very evident by the heavily worn trails. Taking one look at the huge rubs on this farm should be enough to convince anyone of its trophy whitetail potential. Well manicured roads give easy access to every part of the property, great for someone interested in riding ATVs, horse back or hiking. Having no road frontage makes this parcel feel very secluded and private. The 30 ft wide grass roadway that accesses the farm starts at the neighboring cabin and bends into the east side of the property at about the midway point. The neighbor that lives in the cabin watches the property year round and also helps with maintaining the access trails and doing the food plot planting.
A majority of the terrain on this parcel is flat ( see topo map ) making it very enjoyable to walk or hunt. There are some ridges that drop down to the creek bottom but they are not very steep. The creek runs through the northwest portion and has water most of the year. This property has something to offer every outdoor enthusiast.
